Kate's first popsicle...she preferred the stick. Ü
We are definitely enjoying Spring in Mississippi! It is beautiful here! Everything is so green and warm. Summer will probably be REALLY hot, but we are enjoying spending lots of time outside!
Something new for us is fire ant hills. They are EVERYWHERE! We have been teaching Claire about them so she can stay away. One day as the girls were digging Claire said, "look mom, I make a fire ant hill." I guess she's catching on.
Kate joined in on the fun!
Claire still LOVES books and loves to have time to herself. My sister gave us her old sandbox. Currently it's just an inside toy for reading and playing but hopefully this summer we can take it outside.
These girls love spending time together! Claire is always saying, "good job Kate!" about things she is doing. And one day I got Kate out of the car first (Usually I get Claire out first) and Kate kept hollering and pointing at Claire in the car, like saying "Don't forget her." It was sweet!
Claire is still allergic to Wheat and nuts. She's starting to realize that it's not very fun at times. However there are sweet people who watch out for her too! A lady from our branch stopped by and brought Claire a Gluten Free cupcake. She was in heaven. Heck-we all were...it was delicious!
Kate is still our silly girl. Lately she's been loving to suck on her toes.
Kate is also picking up on everything Claire does! We were out on a walk and the train went by. Claire always covers her ears because it's so loud. Kate have been watching...
Kate LOVES to eat! I just had her 15 month app and she's only in the 10% but healthy and doing well. She is 19.4 lbs and also sleeping through the night! So far NO ALLERGIES! YAY! She will try almost any food we give her and really loves chocolate!
Claire has been trying to earn new rain boots by learning to go #2 in the potty. It's still in process but she met the goal so that day we found some pink ones. It has just rained so of course we had to try them out.
They girls had a blast playing in the muddy puddle!
At last, but not least, our fun wagon. The station crew loaned it to us and the girls LOVE it! Kate is always trying to jump out and see how the wheels are working. Claire says, "kate, sit down honey." But we have a great time!

You seriously have the sweetest girls! What great sisters they are! Fingers crossed Kate continues to not have allergies. And how nice of someone to bring over a GF cupcake... little things like that always mean so much! :)
