Rochester, NY

Shaun and I went on an awesome vacation to Rochester, NY. My sister and her family live there. Her husband is attending school and they have a little 6-month-old baby, Collin.
Shaun and I had a blast. Here are a few (ok a lot) of pictures.

Little Collin! He was quite the trooper on our day trips!

Boating down the Erie Canal

The Erie canal is man made so they had to put several locks to make up for the hills.
we sat as the water filled up and then the gates opened and we could keep on moving...so cool!

Lake Ontario

I always thought that the LDS "church sites" were for old people who were retired and only doing genealogy. But, I really really enjoyed these amazing, historical sites! In 1998, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints restored many of these sites for our benefit! If you even have the chance...go and visit!

This is inside the Grandin building where The Book of Mormon was printed.
Talk about a painstaking process!!

The Smith's first house/kitchen

When you are walking down the Smith Family Farm lane on the left is this amazing view of the Palmyra Temple. On your right is the path to the Sacred Grove.

Here are some great shots we got from the Sacred Grove

The Hill Cumorah

We even went to Canada to see Niagara Falls! Here are some highlights!

The Hershey's Store...Yummy Chocolate Shakes. Don't get jealous Shaun. I love you more than chocolate even if it's in the shape of an over-sized Hershey's Kiss.

The wind was blowing so there was a nice cloud of mist in the middle of the falls. :(

The first person to go off the falls was a teacher.
She went in this barrow. Crazy! (No, I'm not next)

This was the time Shaun caught his "dear".
On the left is the US side of the falls and on the right is the Canadian side.
Both were so cool!

Coiiln, the little super hero!

We had a awesome trip! Good food, good laughs, and good times!
Thanks Seleta and Brett for such a great vacation!!

I am really spoiled !

Every Sunday we go to Shaun's parents house for dinner. I love it! I have had a lot of fun getting to know his family better. One of my favorite parts of Spring time is when his Parent's yard is in bloom. That means I get a fresh bouquet of flowers every week. They are absolutely beautiful! Plus, these roses give off the sweetest smell. I am in heaven!
Thanks Broderick's for sharing your yard with me!
