Fall Fun!

I really LOVE the fall in Ohio! It has mild temperatures, low humidity, sunshine, and it lasts for a long time! It definitely makes up for the LONG, dreary winters.
We took advantage of a beautiful Saturday afternoon to explore a local pumpkin patch.
Some one in the ward told us which road it was on and we turned off at the first pumpkin patch sign we saw... wrong one. Oops. This one was very lame. Pick a pumpkin and then you could pay $4 a person to do a corn maze. Claire had fun picking a pumpkin and trying them all on for size (aka sitting on all of them). We decided to keep driving and within a mile down the road saw the signs for the patch we wanted to go to.
This second patch had huge pumpkins. Claire was so excited she could hardly contain herself.
It also had a straw maze. Shaun took her in it. I started going but my pregnant belly was definitely not a good mix with this toddler maze.

So fun!

Then we took a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch. Claire loved the little pumpkins, too. We decided to get some little ones to bring home.
While at the patch we ran into another family from our ward so we took turns taking group pictures.
Claire has been so into pumpkins this year. She tried to pick this one up and then would say, "pumpkin too heavy. Daddy carry it." So cute!
This week has started getting a little chilly. I am crossing my fingers we can have at least one more week of beautiful weather! This mama loves the sunshine!
